What are Con mains in Electrical Work

Con mains” likely refers to “connections to the mains” or the main electrical supply. In electrical work, it refers to the connection of electrical equipment or systems to the main electrical supply, which provides power to the building or structure. This connection typically involves connecting electrical circuits, wiring, and devices to the main electrical panel or distribution board.

Con mains work is an important aspect of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. It requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise, as well as adherence to electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Improper con mains work can result in electrical hazards, such as electric shock, fire, or damage to equipment. It is important to have qualified electricians perform con mains work. That is why, Baycoast Electrical and Control solutions ensures the safety and reliability of electrical systems.

Fascia :

In electrical work, the term “fascia” generally refers to a panel or board that covers the front of an electrical device. It may be covering a switchboard, meter panel, or distribution board. The fascia provides a decorative or protective cover for the electrical components behind it, while allowing access to the components for maintenance and repair. It can be made of various materials, including metal, wood, or plastic depending on the specific application and requirements.

Overhead Back up :

Overhead back up” likely refers to an electrical system or device that provides backup power in the event of a failure or interruption of the main electrical supply. These systems are typically used in commercial, industrial, or public facilities. It ensures that essential operations can continue in case of a power outage.
