Temporary power is typically installed on infrastructural projects and construction sites for lighting work and equipment use. The temporary power runs through a power pole, providing an on-site electricity supply that can be used for up to a year. Builders may request extending the power supply’s duration for a short while if the construction work is almost finished. Then it must either become permanently connected to the leading electrical network or disconnected.
Only a licensed Level 2 electrician is authorised to set and install the temporary power pole utilised for construction sites. The electrician must meet the regulatory specifications for power supply on construction work, such as the Ampere requirements, number of outlets and the pole’s distance from the construction site.
As a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider, Baycoast Electrical and Control Solutions has been awarded the Temporary Power Contract by Project Coordination for Batemans Bay TAFE C.N.C.
